[News Space=Reporter seungwon lee] Ceragem (CEO Lee Kyung-soo) announced on the 15th that six of its entries won innovation awards ahead of 'CES 2025', the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition to be held in Las Vegas, USA in January 2025. Ceragem has now won the honor of innovation awards with six products, three more than the three it received last year.
The CES Innovation Awards are presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of the show, to world-leading innovative products and services based on a variety of factors including technology and design.
Ceragem successfully incorporated 26 years of accumulated healthcare know-how and technology into its products, receiving favorable reviews for technology, innovation, and design. It received a total of six innovation awards, including four in the Digital Health category, one in the Fitness category, and one in the Human Security for All category.
The 'Home Therapy Booth', which won an award in the digital health category, is a private full-body thermal sauna for one person that provides Ceragem's core technology of thermal function and various five-sensory therapies according to the user's condition. It measures the user's body temperature and heart rate in real time and can control temperature, humidity, air circulation, etc., and provides a health analysis report based on the measured health indicators.
The 'Home Medicare Bed 2.0', a bed-type healthcare device, won an award this year, following last year, with the addition of AI technology that monitors sleep patterns and creates the best sleeping and waking-up environment.
The 'Smart Headboard', which won an award in the same category, is a bed headboard that allows users to select and combine sound, light, and scent solutions according to their needs to automatically create a personalized healthcare environment. It detects bio-signals such as breathing rate and heart rate and automatically connects to medical institutions, providing customized medical services.
The ion water generator 'Balance 2.0' also won an award in the same category with the addition of IoT and AI technologies, such as a fingerprint sensor that recognizes the user. A nutritional cartridge was added, so liquid-type nutritional supplements are extracted with purified water to help with health management.
In the fitness category, the 'Therapeutic Spa Bed', a bed-type healthcare device equipped with a spinal medical device massage module and low-frequency pad, won the innovation award.
'MindFit', a home depression symptom improvement device using electrical stimulation, was named an award winner in the human security category.
Ceragem plans to set up an exhibition hall at CES 2025 and unveil a number of new healthcare appliance products incorporating next-generation technologies, including CES Innovation Award-winning products.
In order to grow into a total home healthcare company, Ceragem is consistently investing in strengthening R&D centered on clinical research institutes such as Clinical, Technology Research Institute, and Design Innovation Center. To enable organic collaboration between the three organizations, the company opened an 800-pyeong integrated research and development center called 'Healthcare Innotown' in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province at the end of last year.
“We are very pleased that Ceragem’s innovative products and technological prowess have been recognized by winning the Innovation Award at CES for two consecutive years,” said CEO Lee Kyung-soo of Ceragem. “We will continue to strive to provide consumers with differentiated value in a healthy life and healthcare products through continuous research and development in technology, clinical trials, and design.”
