[News Space=Reporter seungwon lee] CJ Olive Young announced on the 4th that the number of brands that will record over 10 billion won in annual sales across its online and offline channels by 2025 has reached 116. The number of "10 Billion Club" brands, which stood at just 36 in 2020, has more than tripled in just five years, demonstrating Olive Young's position as a key incubator in the K-beauty ecosystem.
Last year, six brands surpassed 100 billion won in annual sales at Olive Young: Dr.G, Dalba, Round Lab, Mediheal, Clio, and Torridon, doubling the previous year's sales. Mediheal, in particular, became the first Olive Young brand to surpass 200 billion won in annual sales, thanks to its expanded skincare category, including mask packs and toner pads.
The 10 Billion Club has also seen the arrival of many new brands with unique concepts. Representative examples include Arencia, a cleanser with a unique rice cake-like texture, and Whipped, inspired by cake recipes. Ongredients, the first brand selected through Olive Young's next-generation brand discovery program, "K-Super Rookie with Young," has joined the 10 Billion Club, demonstrating the success of the incubation program.
OliveYoung's growth is closely linked to the influx of foreign tourists. From January to November 2025, the cumulative purchases of foreign visitors to Korea at offline stores nationwide reached 1 trillion won, representing a roughly 26-fold increase compared to 2022. The proportion of foreign sales has also surpassed 25% this year, up from 2% in 2022.
Beauty device brand Medicube AGER has become a must-have shopping item for foreign visitors to Korea, newly joining the 10 billion club. Rejuran and So Natural also joined the 10 billion club for the second consecutive year, with foreign purchases exceeding half.
Olive Young will open its first store in Pasadena, California, the world's largest beauty market, in the first half of this year, marking the start of its global expansion. An Olive Young representative stated, "We will continue to serve as a partner, helping small and medium-sized domestic brands with world-class competitiveness grow into global powerhouses through Olive Young."
