The official said, “2025 will be a year in which we will focus all our efforts on strengthening the competitiveness of our core businesses and securing future eco-friendly technologies.” He added, “This year, the shipbuilding division showed good performance with stable securing of operating volume and process stability, but going forward, we will thoroughly prepare for economic downturns by expanding into overseas markets including the U.S. as well as developing and internalizing ultra-gap technologies.”

In addition, he said, “The construction equipment division will continue to implement management innovations such as completing the development of next-generation new models, completing the new Ulsan plant, and reorganizing to secure synergy. The oil refining and petrochemical division had a difficult year due to reduced refining margins and a deteriorating petrochemical market, but with the appointment of new management, we will make various management improvement efforts such as innovating the organizational culture and improving the financial structure through cost reduction.”
