[뉴스스페이스=이승원 기자] 1일 오전 인천국제공항에 도착한 제주항공 여객기 안에서 필리핀 국적의 30대 여성 승객이 남자아이를 출산했으나, 갓 태어난 신생아가 끝내 숨지는 안타까운 사고가 발생했다. 경찰은 출산 경위와 사망 원인, 기내 대응의 적절성 등을 전방위적으로 조사 중이다. 인천공항경찰단과 소방당국에 따르면, 이날 오전 6시44분께 “비행기 안에서 태어난 아이가 숨을 쉬지 않는다”는 신고가 119에 접수됐다. 해당 항공기는 필리핀 클라크에서 출발해 오전 6시21분 인천공항에 도착한 제주항공 여객기였다. 신고를 받고 출동한 119구급대가 심정지 상태의 남아를 발견, 인근 병원으로 긴급 이송했으나 아이는 결국 숨졌다. 산모는 필리핀 국적의 30대 여성 A씨로, 남편과 딸, 친모 등 가족과 함께 필리핀 여행을 마치고 사이판으로 환승하기 위해 인천공항에 도착한 것으로 확인됐다. 경찰은 산모의 건강 상태에는 이상이 없다고 밝혔다. 제주항공 측은 “해당 산모가 임신 사실을 사전 고지하지 않았다”며 “임신 32주 이상 산모는 의사 소견서가 있어야 탑승이 가능하지만, A씨는 23~25주차로 별다른 제한이 없었다. 기내 출산 상황에서 승무원들이 할 수 있는 최선을
