[뉴스스페이스=김문균 기자] 25일 오전 서울 강남구 삼성동 코엑스에 입점한 식당에서 화재가 발생해 소방 당국이 진화 작업 중이다. 소방 관계자는 “오늘 오전 11시 6분에 신고가 접수됐다”며 “인명 피해 등은 확인 중”이라고 말했다. 소방당국은 소방차량 20대, 소방관 71명을 동원해 화재 진압에 나섰고 오전 11시 42분쯤 초진을 완료했다. 현재 삼성동 일대는 코엑스 건물에서 검은 연기로 가득 찼다. 코엑스 이용객과 인근 상업시설 근무자들도 건물 바깥으로 대피 중이다. 코엑스 내부에 있던 시민과 인근 상업시설 근무자 등 인파 수백명이 건물 바깥으로 대피했다. 이 불로 오전 11시 44분 기준으로 영동대로 왼편 코엑스~삼성역 구간 하위 차로가 통제되고 있다. 현재까지 인명피해는 확인되지 않은 것으로 전해졌다.
