산업·유통 이마트 “114억원 규모 배임·횡령 발생…임원 이모씨 고소"

[뉴스스페이스=김희선 기자] 신세계그룹 이마트에서 100억원대 배임사건이 발생했다. 이마트는 회사 미등기 임원 이모씨를 특정경제범죄가중처벌등에 관한 법률위반(배임) 혐의로 고소했다고 18일 공시했다. 혐의발생금액은 114억원이다. 이는 지난해 연결기준 자기자본의 0.09%에 해당한다. 이마트 관계자는 "배임 혐의가 의심되는 임원에 대해 18일 고소장을 제출했고, 임원에 대한 배임 혐의 고소 시 액수와 무관하게 공시해야 하는 공시 규정에 따라 공시한 것"이라며 "구체적인 내용은 수사가 진행 중인 사안으로 공개하기 힘든 점 양해 부탁드린다"고 말했다. 이어 “이 금액은 고소장의 내용에 기초한 것으로 확정된 내용이 아니며, 추후 수사기관의 수사 등 결과에 따라 변동될 수 있다”면서 "적법한 절차에 따라 필요한 모든 조치를 취할 예정이며, 관련 기관의 조사에 적극 협조할 예정”이라고 덧붙였다.
