[News Space=Reporter seungwon lee] While Netflix's 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (K-Pop Demon Hunters) is receiving attention from around the world, there is controversy over the sale of illegal goods on a large Chinese online shopping mall.

A variety of illegal goods related to 'Kedehun', such as t-shirts, bags, dolls, and blankets, are being sold on 'AliExpress' and 'Temu', which sell to customers around the world.

Even when 'Squid Game' and others gained great popularity around the world, there was a huge controversy over the distribution of illegal copies and unauthorized viewing within China.

In particular, since the release of Season 1 of 'Squid Game', merchants selling 'knockoff' (fake) goods on large Chinese online shopping malls have enjoyed a huge boom.

Professor Seo Kyung-deok of Sungshin Women's University criticized this, saying, "This is truly pathetic behavior. It's unacceptable that they're not only illegally viewing content, but are also creating illegal merchandise to use as a revenue stream." He continued, "It's time to stop. This 'stealing' of content from other countries must stop."

Meanwhile, Chinese netizens have left approximately 7,000 reviews on China's largest review site, Douban, after illegally viewing "Keidehen." Among them are those who claim "Keidehen plagiarized Chinese culture," and continue to make the absurd claim that Korea, through "Keidehen," has actually stolen Chinese culture.
